My one friend's dad always says, "black is a 15 foot color."
Whether it's clean or dirty, 15 feet away, it looks great. Closer than that, clean or dirty, it looks like shit.
Coincidentally, the wagon is freakin black....

As a current black car owner, I concur.
I wouldn't have picked black as my first choice, but it was a rare car and sitting on the dealer's lot. So I went for it.
I don't regret the choice, but yeah, it's a pain to keep clean.

My reaction when I see dust on my freshly-washed black car.

It's got to the point where I have to decide if I'm just not going to wash my car anymore...

When it's clean, I'd have almost no color over black.
The other 99% of the time? Never. Again.

Another fun thing about black cars:
Useful when your oven is broken.

Guess the color of mine......
Although I'm the moron who is basically OCD and yet also has a black daily, do not ask me what I was thinking.

I've had a few black vehicles. My Tundra had to live outside, so that poor vehicle was permanently dirty even though I was pretty diligent about detailing. The ST is also black, but the metallic in it is so vibrant that it actually helps mask dirt a bit better. My wife's dark blue GC is as bad as black.
I can't say I won't have another black car, but odds are, I'll try and get something different after having 2 black vehicles in a row.
